I also used dark fabrics, though, so it's possible you could get some graying of really light fabrics. I tried using the shiny newspaper that the grocery ads come one. That was a disaster. The foundation had more tape than paper by the time I was done. I have also tried parchment paper when I needed something a little bigger than 8.5x11.
